Hi everyone (or anyone)!
I was recently admitted into UCLA for fall 2016 under the major of Design Media Arts, However, I am interested in changing majors into Civil Engineering. Would it be possible to get the major change?
Yes but very very difficult. HSSEAS majors are all impacted.
@Andrew545 Darn, is it really? On the UCLA website, it says that on New Student Orientation freshman have the opportunity to switch majors. do you think i can change into civil engineering then? (Thanks for responding btw

No, you can’t switch into HSSEAS at orientation. If you’re coming from outside HSSEAS, you have to wait at least two quarters and in those two quarters, you have to complete an “engineering course load.”
