PLEASE HELP COLLEGE DECISION! May 1st deadline!

<p>I am currently deciding between University of Chicago, Northwestern, Emory, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Umiami (in Florida) I will be doing the pre med track and am interested in neuroscience and biology. Miami has offered me a 24,000 scholarship and I was accepted into the honors program and PRISM(program for integrated science and math) making it have the same sticker price tag as unc. The other 3 are all around 50,000.</p>

<p>Parents are willing to foot the bill for whatever I choose even though with med school in my future I'm sure they favor unc or um</p>

<p>uchicago and NU are the best academic wise from my options</p>

<p>Emory has great opportunites for
med with the CDC and yerkes nearby</p>

<p>Miami has all the aforementioned perks but it does have a party school repuation?</p>

<p>I would go with Miami as they seem to be giving you the best options.</p>

<p>It looks like UM and UNC are your best options financially - I would pick, from those two, the best fit. If you feel like neither of them is a good fit, then start considering the others.</p>

<p>I’m not sure if this is true, but you seem reluctant to attend Umiami because of a ‘party school reputation.’ If this is something you want avoid and your parents are willing to pay any tuition cost, then why not go to where you really want to go academic-wise (Uchicago or Northwestern).</p>
