PLEASE HELP Common App problem!!!

<p>Okay guys, </p>

<p>I'm applying to eight schools, but my top choice is UMass Amherst. </p>

<p>On the common app I just sent there, I wrote a separate essay just for Amherst. So after I sent it, I realized I couldn't change the essay for the other schools. </p>

<p>So instead I made a duplicate account in the options menu. Unfortunately, for some reason, when I put the other schools on "My Colleges" in the new account, I get the following: </p>

<p>Error: This school has already been listed</p>

<p>Or something along those lines. </p>

<p>So in short, how can I fix this? It's unreal to me that this program is being so uncooperative and ridiculous. It shouldn't be this difficult to just separate the other schools from my top choice that I wrote the separate essay for....Can anyone please help me :/</p>

<p>Have you DELETED the colleges from the list for Version 1? I’m pretty sure you need to do that. Then add it to the College List for your Version 2. Here’s something from the instructions page for Application Versions that suggests you can move the colleges from one Version to the next:</p>

<p>You will have a separate My Colleges page for each application version. Each institution can only be on the My Colleges list of one application version, and you can have a total of 20 institutions across all versions. </p>

<p>You can move an institution from one version to a different version at any time prior to submitting the Common App to that institution by selecting the college on the My Colleges page and clicking on the “Move College” button. </p>
