Congrats to all accepted, I'd really appreciate some input because I can't just sit and wait another 4 months.

Sadly, you will have to just sit and wait another 4 months. I know being deferred sucks, but these chance threads will only drive you crazy- because you’ll either get downtrodden, get false hope, or you’ll be told what you don’t want to hear: nobody has any idea on whether you’ll get in.

I CAN tell you that I wouldn’t be surprised if you were admitted, if that helps- you fit the profile, on paper, of a typical admitted student, but admissions is funny and there’s really no way to accurately guess. All I can say is expect the worst but hope for the best, keep your grades up and send them to NU, feel free to take the SAT again to improve. Don’t stress yourself out because you will end up at the right college regardless, I promise :)

Thanks novafan, I understand that completely. It’s just so stressful. NEU has been my top choice, and while I wasn’t absolutely confident I would get in EA, I think I was subconciously expecting it. Hopefully RD treats me well.
