I won the Rotary Club Youth citizen of the Month Award this year, which was nice. I have volunteered a bit at a local hospice. I know I am a borderline student for any good schools so any feedback would be greatly appreciated by you guys.

out-of-state admission is rough. but you have a lot of things working for you - I doubt many people from michigan apply to w&m, so you are from an under-represented state. and your polish background also sets you apart. you look like you're really active in school and ECs and aren't slacking off senior year - all of that will impress admissions. your numbers maybe aren't the best (though your SATIIs look very strong), but wm isn't know to admit/deny based on stats alone. you look like a good candidate, and even if wm doesn't take you I'm sure you'll find a great school that fits you. good luck!

yeah im really worried becuz i'm from FL and the out-of-state acceptance is very difficult.

You're numbers (GPA/SAT) are a little low, but other than that you seem to have a strong application. W&M is not strictly numbers oriented, and they will look at your whole application. I dunno what all those letters are in the MUNs, but that might help you. W&M has a defending world champion MUN team.

You definitely have a shot.

not to steal the thread from the OP, but its on topic. My gf is eagerly awaiting her decision from WM (out of state, NY) and also doesnt have the highest SAT score (about the same as the OP). She is in the top 5% of her class (4.4 GPA) also with strong ECs and dedication to her outside activities. Does she have a shot?

abrandel, it's really the same situation... she sounds like a really good student all around and WM admission looks at the big picture, still lower than average SATs can hurt out of state applicants. good luck to her
