Please help does Section: 601=CGS course?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I'm registering for courses and some of the ones I have choses are section "601" courses that meet at night. I added these classes through Penn In touch, but while flipping through the course guide I noted that they were listed as CGS. Does this mean that I'd be taking a CGS class, or is it both CGS & College. I ask because I might want to submatriculate and don't want these classes counting against the 4 class max of outside the college credits counting toward the ugrad degree.</p>

<p>those are CGS courses, but I always understood CGS courses as being in the college. they're definitely CGS courses but you should email your adviser to see if CGS courses count against that restriction</p>
