Franklin & Marshall doesn’t give merit aid. Not sure if you have said, but if you are full pay or close to it, I wouldn’t pick F&M over schools like Dickinson that probably would award merit for his stats. I’d visit Dickinson instead of F&M.
^Really? Because in 2012 my friend’s daughter got a generous merit offer from F&M. She was full pay. She went elsewhere, but was strongly considering it because of the award.
You might also look at Hobart & William Smith on Seneca Lake in upstate NY - Your S would most likely get nice merit $$ with his stats. My D received $25K offer in 2014 - she ultimately went elsewhere, but it was definitely a contender. They also claim an excellent med school placement record.

Also, maybe look at Providence College - My S has friends who are pre-med there now and liking it.
Both would most likely yield merit $$ and (hopefully) not be too difficult to maintain a high GPA.
Muhlenberg, and Lafayette
I would also look at butler university, bradley university…and rollins college
To clarify, we are full pay. “Fit” is more important to us than a bargain, although that would be nice, too.
I would definitely look at Pitt by this summer. It has rolling admissions and if your son likes it you can possibly get an early acceptance(early October) and have that in your back pocket. Depending on how much you like Pitt it can help tailor what other schools you apply to.
Did anyone mention Case Western in Cleveland? Another great school. Pitt and CWU taking you a bit west but not as far as U of M.
A lot of great students are looking at Alabama. I believe the 33 ACT will get him free tuition and they have various honor programs that are very attractive.
