Hello, I am an international student...
I got in to Cornell,Johns Hopkins and University of Chicago and more...
However, my family's economic situation turned up....so...I believe I cannot go anymore to those....
Please tell me what to do....
Do you think I should wait for next year's admission? or I should not go to the states?
My dream is to be a vet. and I know that it's 8 years that I have to study.
and the tuition fee is killing....

If you think that I should try once more for the states....
please recommend me some schools that would give me a full scholarship....
or cheapest schools that my family could afford...(out-of-state, international)
I believe my parents could only afford $5000 a year....I do not care about the ranking....
and if you know any outside scholarships...please recommend them to me too...
thank you so much!

at your country? You study in your country for that.

what are your stats? how are we to know where you could go if we dont know your stats?
I doubt anywhere would be affordable, even with merit, if your family can only pay $5k.

do any US vet schools accept int’ls??

A total full ride here, for an international student? Good luck.

What did the colleges you got into give you for financial aid?

well, I do know that US Vet schools accept international students…
I am not entering the vet schools now but like 4 years after I go through zoology course…or biology I guess…
I do want to study in US…Some people told me I should study the first 4 years in my country and later I could go to the graduate school to US…Do you think I should do that?
The universities I got in… the lowest ranking(around 150ths…i think) gave me a $15,000 per year… Is there any possibility that I could get a full scholarship if I lower down the schools? like 600th…?

Most vet schools do not offer financial aid to MOST students. There is precious little financial aid for vet school here.

what are your stats? if they are high, then UAH will likely give you a huge scholarship even as a late applicant…and they are ranked about 140…very good for sciences.

but your family will still have to pay more than 5k…you will have to pay for:

int’l travel
personal expenses
insurance
and anything else the merit doesnt cover.

You can also try Miss St because they give large merit for high stats…even late applicants.

YOU WILL NOT get any funding for vet school…so how will you pay for that?
