Hello! I am an international student currently studying at a CC in Illinois and was wondering if I would be accepted to the Computer Science program at Purdue if I apply right now for Fall 2017 which is pretty late (Deadline: May 1). Or should I apply for Spring 2018 semester?
I also have some credits through my high school.
Stats:
GCSE A-Levels (British-Patterned Education kinda like AP): got all B :
Mathematics: Calculus 1 (4)
Physics: PHYS 17200 (4)
Chemistry: CHM 11500 & 11600 (8)
Computing: CS 1XXXX (6)
Community College: Current GPA: 3.5 :
Composition I (A)
World Mythologies (A)
Psychology (A)
American Govt ©
Composition II (probably B)
US History to 1877 (probably B)
Intro to Lit (probably B)
Intro to Environmental Science (probably B)
My GPA by the end of the semester would probably drop to 3.12. So should I apply right now, which is kinda late, with my 3.5 or later in Spring 2018? If I apply for Spring then my GPA would probably be 3.1 and Purdue wouldn’t look at my Fall 2017 semester GPA at CC. I’m so confused don’t know what to do. I heard that getting into Purdue is kinda easy and the minimum req GPA for Comp Sci is 3.0.
Guide me please.
Thank youu!!!
