Please help, Georgia Tech Or Texas A&M Computer Engineering

Hi,

I'm having hard time choosing between Georgia Tech and Texas A&M (in-state) for computer engineering, as transfer.

Which one would be better in terms academic quality, Co-ops, and connection with silicon valley, CA.

Obviously, G tech is much higher ranked than A&M especially for Computer Engineering. But the only think that is holding me back is the horrible reviews on studentreview website; especially about how brutally tough to maintain a good GPA (3.5+) at tech, nearly impossible. And how the professors are bad in terms of help. Some said the overall experience at tech is just horrible and not to look at the rankings, it is not worth it for out of state students. I'm not sure about these comments if they are true or not.

I'm also considering to apply for MIT, Stanford for graduate studies. Does GT has more prestige over A&M?

Please if any one who study computer engineering, or any engineering can provide me some background about Gtech, I'll be much grateful.

Thanks in advance!
