I took regular government last semester and now I'm taking regular economics, though when I filled out the common app in september, I planned to take AP. I should have changed it on the common app when I decided to take regular but I forgot so it still says that I'm taking AP. I applied mostly to colleges that may be hard to get into, so I don't want this to push them over the edge and reject me, because it's not a big deal since I'm taking the same amount of APs I was last semester, but I don't want this to jeopardize my chances...what should I do? do I HAVE to let them know, and if I do, should I call or email? I applied to a lot of schools so can I just blindcopy all of them or should I send it one by one? and what should I say?

Hi I'm (name) and I applied for regular decision to your college. I wanted to let you know that I decided to take regular economics instead of AP. I made this decision in December, but just recently realized that I didn't make the change on the common app. If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks,
