PLEASE HELP: How many years of Science should I take?

I'm going to be a senior next fall and I've already taken Advanced Chemistry, AP Bio, and AP Environmental Science. Is it necessary for me to take another science class?

A few people have told me that taking 4 years of science instead of 3 will greatly help my chances of getting into college. (Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, USC) Is that true?

On the other hand, a few other people have told me that I'm fine and don't need to take another science class because I'm not going to major in science. (I'm majoring in business).

If I do take a science class, it would be physics.

So should I take physics and have a busy senior year? Or is it okay that I not take it?

If I were you, if you have not already taken any Physics, I would take a Physics class that is below AP level (called Honors at many schools). Physics is a useful subject to know in any case, and other sciences build upon it. If you take any science classes in college, they will assume you have already had a year of high school physics.

Same here, OP. We have the same target schools! Those are my top 4 choices  I took Biology CP freshman year (pre-IB was filled up), Chem Honors sophomore year, and AP Chem junior year. I don’t have room in my schedule for a 4th science (AP Physics) because I want to take Speech and Debate II and Adv Graphic Design. I might take Physics fall semester at the community college because I want to take the course, but I just don’t have room in my schedule (other classes are AP Eng Lit, AP US Gov/Pol, AP Spanish Lang and AP Calc AB).

look, i love science so if i were u i would take all the science i can, but i want to major in science u dont. since you want to major in business u should take all and any business class u can take, it will be great for universities.
if their is any space left after you made sure u took all the business class u can take then now u can take physicz. it is a smart move!
