I received my September ACT scores and they are not as high as my June ACT scores. Can I send colleges just my June ACT scores? Or will they be able to see my September scores too? Would colleges know that I took the ACT test twice or would they know that I only took it once, since I would only show them one test score?
you’re worrying for nothing. Seeing your lower Sept scores won’t hurt you. Colleges understand you’re attempting to better your June ones and it’s only one day. Your transcript matters MUCH more than your scores.
It’s simple: Don’t send your September scores! If you only send your June ACT, colleges have no way of knowing that you even took the ACT in September.
@gearsstudio @bronya123 Keep in mind that not all colleges allow you to pick and choose scores. Some require you to submit them all. Read up on the exact policies of each college you’re applying to in order to be safe.
@BabylonBabylon while that is true, colleges have no way of enforcing that policy when it comes to the ACT. Even if a college wants all scores, the OP could just send the highest one and colleges wouldn’t be aware of any other tests. This isn’t possible on the SAT, where the College Board forces you to submit all your scores to colleges that want it.
Check the requirements of each school you are applying to. Some require all of the scores, others don’t.
