Please help- Is there still a chance for me?

So, I want to tell a little bit of my story and see if my goal is still even attainable!

I started at a community college in 2007, and went off and on until 2011. I had a rough first semester, and failed a class. The other classes I got 2 A's. I started to improve the next semester, then I became depressed (clinically) and put on meds and withdrew from the next semester. Keep in mind I was working part time through all of above, barely making ends meet. In 2012 I went back to school, working full time during the day, taking night classes. I completely committed myself to school and work, and I have improved my grades to A's and B's (GPA from 1.50 up to 2.57, at new community college i have 3.5 GPA currently). I would like to get my AA for transfer in Kinesiology, to go to a CSU. I get that a UC is out of the question but how about SFSU, or CSU East Bay?? Any tips I should consider that could help my chances? Thank you.

You’ve had a rough go of it, that’s for sure. I would focus on emphasizing the fact that you have recovered from your past difficulties and are prepared to make a new start in college. Continue to work hard, get good grades, and above all stay enthusiastic and dedicated. If you can commit yourself to these things, you definitely can get in. Good luck! Help me out? :wink: <a href=“Should I transfer? - College Search & Selection - College Confidential Forums”>Should I transfer? - College Search & Selection - College Confidential Forums;

Thank you very much! I will look at your post right now!
