PLEASE help me choose classes

So I go to a pretty peculiar private school with a lot of classes not in the common style (for example we don't have 'AP English' we can pick among different classes with different themes such as 'Creative Nonfiction' or 'Literature of London' or something.) This year I opted to do a full-year advanced level theater course that takes up much time as an academic major, and I did this and my regular 5 majors in the fall, but in the spring it gets much more intense with a performance and stuff so I need to drop one of my regular majors.

I'm trying to choose between science and math as those are my weakest subjects (I'll definitely declare a major in the humanities when I apply to college) but I'm trying to decide between Oceanography and Advanced Statistics.

Oceanography pros:
- its easier
- I can take this, and next year Physics with the same teacher, get a rec.
- this is more interesting to me

Advanced Stats pros:
- its AP...helps for college

I really cannot decide....help me :(
PS, is it really bad if I can recs from one English teacher and one history teacher? I feel like that would give me the best recs, except many ppl recommend getting one from math/science and one from humanities...

Thanks soo much!

Oceanography all the way. Don't worry, that "AP stats" won't break or make your application, and it will have marginal (if any) importance at best about your admissions.

I don't even think it's a "core" class like calculus or anything, anyways.

Oceanography. You should take classes that you find interesting, not ones just to boost your college resume.
