(Please help me decide)

College fore engineering: Buffalo...stonybrook...rpi...neu

thank you

RPI > NEU >other two.
Unless you dislike Troy and would prefer to be in Boston which is much more of a college oriented city.
That’s assuming money doesn’t factor into the equation.

thank you, i really would rather go to boston but…it is out of state unlike the other 3… maybe financial aid and scolarships will make everything a bit more even

Are you trying to decide where to apply?

Apply to all then decide depending on program and cost.

I can tell you, my son applied to 15 schools/ accepted at all. He ending up choosing Buffalo. He’s in his senior year now as a double engineering major. Has done incredible well and has had great opportunities at Buffalo, both on campus (paid research) and summer internships (through Fall job fair). We have nothing but great things to say about it. He and friends already had job offers by the end of this past summer.

When applying, we skipped WPI and RPI, though great schools. Was concerned that if he did not do well enough, or changed major he would have to transfer. Also, wanted him in a more even ratio of males:females at the school.

Good luck. If you have Buffao quesions, PM me or post on the SUNY Buffalo threads.
