<p>hey…I’m trying to decide between Tufts and Bryn Mawr…
I’ve visited both schools and I stayed overnight at Bryn Mawr…
I didn’t really get to know Tufts PEOPLE since there wasn’t that much time to intermingle with students…
well, at Bryn Mawr I liked the fact that it was all girls school…they looked more not-concerned with looks?? and free,I guess??
and I loved the weather and the campus…and the dorms were bigger than my own room.
People were unbelievably nice…up to the point that I felt I was too cynical to attend Bryn Mawr
At tufts, I really liked the academics…and I really liked the biology professor…
Everyone was telling me how different Tufts is from Bryn Mawr…
I’ve heard good things and bad things about Tufts…
good things were, obviously that people are smart, professors are nice…blahblah
but some people seemed to have this view that Tufts students are “preppy”, and Tufts guys were “popular lacross players when they were at highschool.”
I don’t play sports, I’m not a cheerleader type, I drink but my friends don’t…
well…Please tell me more about Tufts…Help!!

<p>Did you post this in the Tufts thread, too? I think that it's much more important to overnight at Bryn Mawr than at Tufts -- BMC is so small, and the atmosphere so distinctive, that "match" is really crucial. Tufts is big enough, and urban enough, and diverse enough socially, that there's space for a lot of different types to find a niche.</p>
