I am a transfer student with major in applied math. I have already received an admission from UCLA, but I want to drop my current course "Discrete Mathematicsin".

According to the website (Welcome to ASSIST), "Discrete Mathematicsin" is not required for my major courses.

So,I want to konw whether I still can get into Berkeley if I drop my Discrete Mathematicsin with a "W".

I have already sent the same e-mail to UCLA, but they answered that they do not advise students to drop courses and modify their schedule due to their policy. And they cannot guarantee that coursework changes will not affect my original offer of admission.

How should I do? It's too crazy!!!
