As far as majors go, I'm very undecided, leaning more towards math/science than the humanities. I like schools with nice campuses (close to a city) that are strong in both math/science and the humanities.

What are my chances, esp at Northwestern?? Do I have too many dreams/high reaches? Not enough safeties? Would it be wiser to replace Northwestern with Dartmouth?

Thanks a lot, I need to give in my final list within the next 2 days!!!

what do you expect us to say.. your a potential candidate at all those schools

i guess my main question is, is northwestern a high reach? or a semi reach?

thanks.

semi-reach. do you go to stuy?

yea, are u familiar with it?

My advice is choose between Wellesley and Barnard now if you can, you will 100% get into both. I would then replace the one you drop with Dartmouth if that is what you would like. You are one of those HYPS maybies, DartBrownColumbiaPenn probablies, Cornell Northwestern very very likelies.

thanks for replying, i thought about doing that, but i'd feel much safer applying to both barnard and wellesley.

Maybe dump CMU then? Otherwise NU is in the bag, but be prepared to go there. It might be nice to have another top choice...

I decided to replace Barnard with Washington University in St. Louis...do you think that was a wise decision? i can still change it if i change my mind....

also, my school weighted our averages AGAIN, this time rewarding students for taking AP classes, so my average goes up to a 97.15
