PLEASE help me find a school!

Thanks to anyone who replies! I'm kind of panicking right now because I can't find a school that seems right for me and all the ones I really want to go to our super-reaches. Please help!

GPA: 3.899 (competitive hs in nj that won't tell us our rankings)
SAT: first time- 710 math 690 cr 770 writing total of 2170
second time- 2100 :( I'm taking it again in october
SAT IIs: 710 spanish 740 lit 710 us history
APs: apush-5, english-5, bio-3

ECS: I know I'm really, really lacking in this department
-orchestra for 4 years
-chamber music club for 4 years and officer senior year
-volunteered for 2.5 years as TA at Korean school
-worked/volunteered as TA at local SAT place (which is how I got to take classes)

I definitely want to stay close to new jersey and I'm interested in schools with good international relations/sociology/anthropology programs.
And I really hate extremely conservative schools with major frat/sorority scenes.

So far, these are some schools I'm considering: georgetown (extreme reach, I know), syracuse, american u, trinity...

thanks!
ps. please be easy on me as this is my first post here :)

Hmmmm…Those schools kind of fit the ticket. Syracuse is kind of frat-ish, I believe. For IR I would think of George Washington, Boston University, and University of Richmond as pretty good matches. If you want another reach to accompany Georgetown, Johns Hopkins is renowned for International Relations, and UChicago is another that is pretty strong in anthropology and sociology. Oh! Tufts seems like a low reach/high match. Tufts is fabulous for IR. Brandeis? You might also want to check out a list of LACs. If I were you, I would pull up “the list that shall not be named on CC”, US News rankings for top liberal arts colleges. You could really get some good small private schools out of the top 100 for your list. I hope this helps! Best of luck!

If Hopkins is a reach, tufts probably is. Similar sat and acceptance rates. If you can get the sat to 2200 plus you should be safer

If you are female, Barnard seems like a good choice.

thanks everyone, this really helps.
I was considering barnard but I don’t know if I could handle an all-girls school.
just a question- is university of richmond more of a party school?
