First of all, what can your family affford?

Have you calculated your EFC (Expected Family Contribution)?

Use the CollegeBoard website’s EFC Calculator, use “IM” and “FM” and keep hitting “Save” so you can refer back to it. You will need your parents’ 2010 Tax Return & Your 2010 tax return, and some other info on equity in parents’ home, their assets etc.

You could take a look at West Virginia University, your GPA would probably be OK there.

perhaps looks at NYU (since you’re instate), boston university (safety), case western reserve university, university of rochester, university of miami, etc.

My family and I can afford most schools within reason. We are willing to accumulate some debt, so unless tuition is 40K +, I’m good.

Also, I don’t think I have good enough grades to go to BU or NYU, but thanks man haha

If you are not interested in a SUNY, or a 50K plus private school, Alfred University would offer you and your parents an excellent value. Possibly you could play Division III soccer.

NC: High Point Univ, Univ of NC/Greensboro, Queens’ U/Charlotte: all matches…Elon: MAtch (ED) reach (EA)

SC: College of Charleston
