HI. When do we apply for UCLA scholarships? I was browsing the site and I saw that UCLA didn't require Letters of Rec, so I didn't ask any of my teachers. But now, I see that you need some for Scholarships! The deadline is Nov. 30th and I'm really freaking out! Do we have to apply for scholarships and get the letters of rec in all before Nov. 30?
Anyone?! Please helppp

Well one of the most prestigious scholarships UCLA offers is the Regent’s Scholarship. For that one you just turn in the regular UC application, no recommendations or extra essays or anything like that.

Then, in early February, UCLA mails applications to top students asking for letters of recs, essays, etc.

Here’s the website [UCLA Financial Aid Office | CAL GRANTS | LOANS | WORK STUDY | SCHOLARSHIP | PELL GRANTS](http://www.fao.ucla.edu/uclascholarships/regents.html)

Of course, there may be other scholarships I am unaware of. It’s best to check UCLA’s website or your high school counselor.
