I'm planning on majoring in political science.
GW gave me $30,000/yr, which knocks them down to just under $20,000.
Emory gave me $10,000/yr, which puts them at about $30,000.
I'm concerned about GW's lack of campus. Emory has always been my 1st choice, I'm trying to appeal for more FinAid tomorrow....please help!

If Emory is your dream than you should definetly appeal and see if you can work. However, GW is VERY good for political science because it is IN THE CAPITAL! Since you would be attending during possibly very interesting election years (2006 and 2008), it is not a bad choce and would put you rght in the midst of everything.

I didn't get any money from GW :(

If you're serious about political science, go with GW. GW has a more traditional campus (Mount Vernon) in addition to its urban campus. Besides, it's in DC, if you want public/political internships, there's no better place to be.

Oh, and Emory has an affiliation with Jimmy Carter and his foundation rolls eyes.

The real question is how serious you are about political science. If you're not and it's one of those "today I want to major in P.S. and tomorrow I want to go pre-med" then you should consider Emory or other schools, not GW.
