Colleges I am considering: Villanova(#1), Georgetown, Cornell, Leihigh, UVA
William and Mary,University of Richmond, Lehigh, UVA

What do you think? Do i have a decent chance? What other schools do you suggest (for business)? Thank you

A lot of people on the Georgetown and William and Mary forums will tell you that you have no shot. However, many people on here (who've successfully transferred to great schools will tell you otherwise). I think that you can get into some very good schools, but Cornell and Georgetown are a bit of a reach. APPLY ANYWAYS. You have nothing to lose, and every once in a while, colleges suprise people!

I assume you're transferring as a junior? If not, your chances at any competitive schools are shot given your high school GPA. (As a junior, less emphasis is placed on it.) It's odd that you didn't take your SATs, but it shouldn't hurt unless some of your schools require it, which is something you must find out soon. Provided your recommendations are solid and your essays compelling, Cornell and Georgetown could very well be in the cards with some luck.

Yes i am looking to transfer for my junior year. I have also been talking to the president of my school recently so i will be able to have a rec from him.

youll get into Rutgers with no problem. Villanova says they want " A cumulative GPA of a 3.00/4.00 is recommended for students interested in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Villanova School of Business", so you might have a good shot with that GPA.

If you're applying as a junior and you're planning on having a 3.8 then you'll be fine. Georgetown's average GPA of transfer is a 3.7, so you're within their range. Don't know much about the others.
