Please help me not look like a muppet at prom!

<p>I'm in a pinch. </p>

<p>Prom is coming up, and I do not own a blow drier, curler, or any hair product beside head n shoulders classic clean (I'm an "at least it's clean" kind of girl). I have just-below-shoulder length straight brown hair. The only hair style I know how to do is a ponytail. All the prom hairstyle websites evidently want me to look like a muppet who had a collision with a Britney Spear's hair extensions and several pounds of glitter. </p>

<p>Any ideas for a sane prom hairdo? It would be muchly appreciated. </p>

It's pretty simple and quick and it just might work if your hair is long enough. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, you're going to have to buy a blowdryer and a curler if you'd like to do your own hair for prom. But, those aren't too expensive if you go to the right places. </p>

<p>maybe you should make your hair wavy, but not curly. wash your hair the night before, and then braid it when its still wet and leave it like that until morning. Ive done it and i think it looks pretty! yeah and dont make your hair into major major curls. personally i think it looks old fashioned and disgusting, especially if you do it to your entire head. maybe i bit at the bottom would look nice.</p>

<p>Or you can always ask your friends about what theyre gonna do.</p>
