I’m asking for my friend.
He failed two classes at UT Austin when he was supposed to graduate this weekend.
Can he take those two failed classes at UT Dallas as a co-enrollment student of some sort? He wants to move back home and not live in Austin anymore as he’s got a job lined up and everything.
Please please help. Summer school isn’t an option the classes he needs are not offered this summer.
Summer at UT Dallas starts on Wednesday, May 27. The late application deadline was May 1. If he has more than 42 transferable hours and a 2.7 or higher cumulative GPA he could apply for as a transfer student for fall 2015. However, most schools have a rule that you can not take off campus classes in the last semester before graduation. Your friend should check with the UT Austin’s rules. UT Dallas is not an extension of UT Austin - it would be viewed as taking classes off campus.
