I am so torn between 3 colleges right now::

Temple University (Philadelphia)
Wesley College (Delaware)
UCLA (Cali)

I want to major in General Education (Hopes of becoming a principal later on)

I get very good grades (Val for my class)
Based on the education departments at these schools, can you please help me decide which school I would apply early for.

I am also looking at career placement after undergrad years!

Thank You in advance

I’m not sure the OOS cost of UCLA makes sense with your career goals. Your undergraduate education there will cost over $120,000 (as an OOS student you won’t get FA.) If you have ambitions to be a principal, you’ll need grad school (more money), plus you’ll probably start out as a teacher (very low starting salary.) So unless money is not a consideration, my recommendation would be either a private institution where you’ll get FA and merit $, or an honors program at your flagship U, followed up with a very good grad program (Harvard, Columbia, etc.)

I second Katliamom. Look at your instate choices first to save $ for further education. SUNYs are bargains.

Teacher (and principal) certification requirements depend on the state that you are working in. It is very important that you know where you plan to work so that you can either earn your teaching degree in that state, or that you earn it in a state with a cooperating agreement with the state where you will work. You should do your student teaching in the state where you plan to start your career.
