PLEASE HELP ME pick!!! (engineering)

<p>Hi, this is my first time using CC. Could you guys help me choose my college? I have a hard time choosing colleges to apply to.</p>

<p>Here is my problem.......
I have 3 siblings going to college already. I dont want to bury my parents with all the cost. </p>

<p>What I look for in college:
- East coast
- have awesome school spirit!
- medium side
- Good in science/ engineering
- Sports to watch! </p>

<p>Here is my stat:
Area: Rockville, Maryland
GPA: 3.9
WGPA:4.71
SAT: it is horrible. I didn't prepare for it, i m going to retake it in Nov.
Math-- 670 ( planning on geting near 800 ) verbal -- 470 ( hoping 500+ something)
SAT II: I didn't prepare for it neither... I dont like SAT much. Chem 770, phy 660, Math II 730.
Community services hour: 400+
AP courses:AP Chem(10)-5,AP Bio(11)-4,AP CAL BC(11)-5,AP Stat,AP Phy<br>
Sport: Field Hockey ( 3 years ) LOVE IT! , Swimming (4 ), Track and Field (3 )
Clubs: NHS ( 2 years )--- National Chinese Honor Society ( 2 years) ... etc..
Weekend Job: Lifeguard. haha =P the laziest job
Intended Major: ENGINEERING! =) (not computer) I know engineering is going to be impossible, but i m going to try.</p>

Uni. of Maryland - College Park. ( definitely ) </p>

<p>Try the college searches at both collegeboard.com and at the US News website.</p>

<p>You may be eligible for a lot of financial aid with three siblings in college. As backups, you should apply to UMBC and Towson. Look at Catholic University. They have a great engineering department that is less cut throat than most. (They try to maintain a nurturing environment in all of the departments). They are one of the lower cost private schools, so with aid it may be affordable.</p>

<p>I could be wrong, but I do not think that Towson offers engineering.</p>

Penn State</p>

<p>University of Pittsburgh may work...good engineering school that may match the SATs.</p>
