Please help me pick my classes!

So I will be picking classes for senior year soon and I am in a dilemma. I go to a private catholic high school so my school doesn’t offer the “elective” APs like Econ or psych and being let in to the AP classes are very limited due to 15-25 student caps. I have taken multiple honors and only one AP(bio) so far. Next year I can’t decide if I should take AP or honors calc. I will most likely have one or two more APs next year and multiple honors but am stressing as to whether Schools will put much emphasis on course rigor. The two schools I am mainly worried about are Ohio state and university of Florida, all other schools I’m applying to I should be able to get into.

Pros of AP:
Looks better
Potential college credit

Cons:
Can do math but not my strongest or favorite subject
i would be taking it with very competitive class mates so it won’t be as enjoyable
Much harder
Lower grade

Pros of honors:
Can take AP test at end of year if I feel confident(they are taught by the same person)
Will be with classmates that are much more my pace
Higher grade
Less stress during senior year

Cons:
Looks like I’m taking easy route
No Ap credit if don’t take test or score poorly

I would really appreciate any insight, and here’s my potential schedule(?'s mean maybe taking class)

Honors English
Religion
AP Spanish
Honors physics
Math
AP art history?
Film class?
AP chem?
AP stats?
Honors Java?

I can take seven classes so please help me pick my schedule, thanks

Are you planning to pursue math or anything math-related in college? If not, taking honors Calculus over AP Calculus shouldn’t make too big of a difference in the eyes of the admissions officers. It’s better to do well in a class than to overwork yourself in a more rigorous class that you won’t enjoy.

What are you interested in doing in college? Choose the classes that interest you the most and not the classes you think colleges want to see.

@azwu331 I want to go to medical school but don’t plan on majoring in the sciences.

It’s senior year, pick some classes you love (but also look rigorous at least on apps…and if you’re going for AP credit, it’s your last chance!)
I’d recommend AP art history, and either AP chem or Java. Chem and physics combo is HARD but most kids at my school take AP Chem and AP Physics as a combo. It’s no walk in the park but very doable if you work hard! I don’t personally like the double math, and calc is super hard. My friend is taking both calc AB and stats and is dying.

here’s just what I think: take AP calc. Colleges practically expect AP calc scores these days, especially selective ones. It’s difficult (currently in calc BC and i’m dying but I’m not extremely mathy), but you learn a lot and you can avoid some basic math classes in college. Even if you’re not mathematically oriented or into the sciences (which you should be if you’re considering med school!), calc is fundamental and unavoidable.
