UC Berkeley
UChicago

UCSD (This is also good for me)
UC Irvine
NYU
Boston University
Brandeis University
Cornell University
Brown University
UPenn (Conducted the alumni interview, went okay)
Carnegie Mellon University (I don’t think I even have a chance)
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Georgia Institute of Technology
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Stanford University (DREAM SCHOOL)
Washington University at St.Louis
Thanks For Helping!!
Wish you all best of luck!!
[If the guess is right, I’ll mail you an iPod…LOL]
UMass CS > UIUC ES (especially for someone who wants to … study CS).
UC Berkeley
UChicago
UCLA
Cornell University
Brown University
UPenn
Carnegie Mellon University
Stanford University
Washington University at St.Louis
=> unlikely, but you may get into a couple. You’re competitive academically but like for all of these, it’s a lottery and it’ll depend on your essays and recommendations. If you’re not applying for financial aid, it’ll help at UChicago, Brown, UPenn, Stanford, and WashU and may help at UCB and UCLA. If you’re applying for financial aid, you have to make it through another selection round and so few make it it’s impossible to predict.
UCSD
UC Irvine
NYU
Boston University
Brandeis University
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Georgia Institute of Technology
University of Wisconsin - Madison
=> you’ll get into 5-6 of these.
So, I’m betting you’ll get into 6-7 if you need FA, and about 10 if you don’t. Not a bad result at all considering how selective these universities are, and how many Chinese applicants there are in every pool.
Do keep us updated with your actual results.
UCSD and UCI are for sure acceptances. UCLA and UCB might be a high match and a lower reach since being an international applicant is more advantageous. Stanford is unpredictable but its possible with your stats and ECs. Your chances at CMU are higher than those at Stanford based on stats. UMich and UW Madison are also probably acceptances. Ivies may be a lot harder to get into but your ECs may help there. Best of Luck!
