<p>The answer is E but I think (C) should be “rather than accepting”</p>

<p>The answer is A, while I think that C should be “was mentioned”</p>

<p>For 1, C is the right answer indeed because the two parts of this phrase are in contradiction, I mean, because the first part says robots work in the service of humanity, you wouldn't expect them to harm people. The word but shows that contradiction.</p>
