I believe ABC does something like that so they can place as many kids they are in charge as possible, but how is this going to help you lindha? You’ll get one hundred answers. Are you going to go by frequency counts? Tell them the truth. If you can’t rank them, just say you like them equally or if you have a preference say so as well. It’s unreasonable for them to ask for an absolute ranking. There is a reason why there is a re-visit day.

i’m NOT ■■■■■■■■
thxss blueraven for clarifying that!!
I have ABC and I also have my Saturday school that I have been doing since 6 grade and they help their students go to the top schools!

CANDIDATE123 I’M NOT JOKING…
BENLEY- Thats what I said to my Director but she is asking me to rank so BADLY that I just don’t know! Thye want to give me a spot that they r aure that I will attend because there are a lot of kids in my program that might be interesting attending a school I dont want too! kinda of difficult to explain

Hotchkiss
Exeter
Deerfield
Groton
But I warn you that I am really biased because my dad’s a Hotchkiss alumnus. But to be honest, I agree with many of these people who think the decision is yours. Considering that it is your future, your opinion is the most significant one, and so you should ultimately make the choice…but that is just my view

thxss Polodolly
Yaa I know the decision is mine but I’m just BEING CURIOUS THATS ALL!

No problem…and congratulations for getting into such illustrious schools. Many people would love to get that chance…coughmecough.Sorry that sounded kinda cocky = [
But anyway, best of luck!

I understand what she is saying, she is part of a program to help kids get into boarding school.

What I think they are asking for is what do you think is the best fit, your kid’s choices for where they think they would like to go.

Big school, vs smaller, specific languages (some schools offer japanese, most don’t), dance programs?

What was the visit like?

Where do you see your child fitting in

Do you want the “toughest school”, most elite???

No. According to lindha they just wanted her to rank the 4 schools she is applying to. They then supposely will try to place her in her first choice and then “save” the rest for another candidate. That way, no or fewer slots would be wasted.

benley u get it!

I agree, Benley. Instead of potentially receiving 4 acceptances, she’d receive 1 acceptance, and 3 waitlists (or rejections.) The Saturday school might hope that other candidates from their program might thus be accepted by the less-favored schools.

yes thats waht I was tryin to say!

i say you put groton WAY before hotchkiss!!! but im biased, but still, GROTON FTW!!!

i think the reason its gotten so few votes is because its slightly less popular and therefore pushed to the side.

inmho(non biased opinion) I think Groton is a better school than hotchkiss.

I have to admit that Groton’s Mascot is wayyy more appealing than Hotchkiss ( dont tell my dad I said that!)Look at an actual bearcat:
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/img/2007/national/3010_bearcat_a.jpg

HAHA Polo: I literally lol’d at ■■■■■ @ that
Zebras ftw! lol

I know! I showed my dad like a week ago, and he was like I cannot believe that I spent 4 years at a school that promotes things that look like psychotic koalas! But I know that he loves Hotchkiss anyway

you have to admit, it IS bretty adorable though lol
It would get slaughtered by a rhino though
just sayin’

I know, with the whole Hotchkiss bearcats vs. Taft rhinos vs. Groton Zebra vs. Choate wild boars, etc. Sometimes I wonder how it would work is your school is a color, not to offend, but imagine Harvard Crimson Vs. Yale bulldogs…would a fight like that even be possible…haha these are random things I think about

My ranking:

Deerfield
Exeter
Hotchkiss

As Groton doesn’t offer a PG year, I don’t know anything about it.
Good luck!

exeter.
hotchkiss.

i dont really know that much about groton and deerfield. sorry if i wasnt much help.

list yr ecs
no to groton

Lindha’s interests include drama, debate, humanities, yearbook, soccer, volleyball, student government. It’s hard for me to rank since I’m not you and I know nothing of Groton and Exeter, but I think Hotchkiss has great drama, debate and humanities programs.
