I thought the schools were pretty much done putting together their classes by now. Shows what I know!

hotchkiss and deerfield

Hey Lindha, which saturday program do you attend? I would love to know!!! Just curious, that’s all… By the way, these are all really great schools, I’d be more than happy to attend any one of them!

I think it would be better if you ranked them by yourself, because it’s not us who are going to have sit through 4 years of school that people on an internet forum chose for us.
Just sayin.

I cannot tell you saturdays school OMGTorontoGirl is way too personal!

How did you rank them? I know it’s so hard.

Seriously I cannot rank them!

I was a little surprised when you listed Hotchkiss as your least favorite. But at the end of the day, it’s your decision, not mine. Good luck!

They are fantastic choices all. You have hit the jackpot. Congrats!!

Lindha, Are you in ABC-A Better Chance?

forgive me, but what is a Saturday school? I haven’t heard of these in my part of the US. Is this something done in other countries?

I read an article in the NYT some years back. Some families (Korean-American?) in New York send their kids to extra schooling after school, and on Saturdays. I assume that New York is not the only city to have such schools.

There are many Saturday schools in California, although I understood the classes to be language and culture focused. In our area, most are for Chinese or Vietnamese students. I’ve never heard of a Saturday school that was involved in private school admissions.

o2008z yes I’m an ABC scholar!
Basically the saturday school is an ENrichment Program sorry I didnt make myself clear…

Deerfield

…everything else
