<p>Anything you get for $2000 will meet your needs. You can get a fully capable laptop for CS that meet your needs for CS. Either a laptop or a PC will work. Go with whichever you prefer, though if you go with Windows you might want to learn linux in the future.</p>
<p>Thank you for your answer, Nanotechnology! But i still wonder that should I buy an OS or Window? I prefer Window 'cause I’ve used it so far, and have never used OS. But which one is more prefered in CS major? Could you suggest me a particular laptop? Thanks. :D</p>

<p>Most of your professors will probably be using OSX or Linux. But for most intro stuff, Windows is fine. I have known people who get through CS programs using only Windows, but most end up learning Linux at some point.</p>
<p>It’s hard to recommend a specific laptop, but I’m very satisfied with my Thinkpad T440p. I know a couple people with the Yoga who like it.</p>
