I am potentially transferring out of the University of Mary Washington (VA) in the Spring or Fall of 2014. I am active on campus but had an academically rough first semester (Fall 2012). My grades are nowhere near as impressive as they were my senior year of high school. I would like to remain in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region, as my family is from the Northeast.
I am looking for a liberal arts college with strong school spirit. I am also not opposed to (dare I say welcome?) women's colleges. Suggestions? Thanks, guys :)

What can your family afford? What were your college grades? How about HS stats?

I can go about $35k per year, all in. College grades are B’s. HS stats were much stronger, several AP and all others were honors courses. I don’t want to disclose specifics, but I was accepted into the classes of 2016 at Mount Holyoke, American, Catholic, UConn. Denied from Boston College but that was expected all along.
I have a laundry list of summer programs and extracurricular activities that are respectable in the eyes of admissions officers.

Yo can always apply to the schools that accepted you initially. You obviously liked something about them. Why do you want to leave Mary Washington? Will it be any different at another school?
