Please help me with chances!

<p>I'm a US citizen attending a Christian International school in South Korea.
I'm an asian, and in my school you need a 96 to get an A. I am currently taking 1 AP class (English) and will be taking 2 next year.
I'm a junior and will be taking the SATs in May. Right now(11th grade) I have a 3.9 GPA but my cousin who lives in CA has lower grades than me but manages a 4.0
if my GPA is evaluated the same as my cousin, won't I have a disadvantage?
