<p>I don't know about all of the schools on your list, but I think Cornell would be a big reach for you. An B average is going to hurt you there. I think you are right in the hunt for Northeastern and Pitt due to your nice test scores. But, most of the kids who apply to Pitt from our HS have higher GPAs and comparable scores. Check on the University of Pittsburgh thread to see who has already been accepted. Good luck...throw a reach or two in there, but not necessarily an Ivy.</p>

<p>Your SAT I is a 2010/2400 (not 2200/2400 as written in Post #1, or 2020 as per your post #12) or a very impressive 1430/1600 for Math & CR.
Your class rank of 50th percentile may present a bigger hurdle than expected at highly selective schools because your teacher recs are likely to remark on a perceived lack of effort on your part despite high ability as evidenced by a 1430/1600 SAT.</p>
