I recently submitted two early action applications through the Common App website. Each application was a different version, but I had the same teachers write recommendation letters for them. One teacher submitted his recommendations online while the other mailed them.

Now I have created a third version of the Common App for the rest of my schools. When I go to School Forms for each of these applications on this newest version, the website tells me that my first teacher, who submitted his recommendations online, has already submitted his recommendation for each of these schools as well. I can't delete his name from the newest version. However, I don't want to use this teacher's recommendations for the rest of my applications. I have already asked another teacher.

How can I remove this first teacher's recommendation from the applications of the rest of my schools? Thanks for your help.

no don't you get it? i can make a million versions (well okay, up to ten) and this stupid teacher's rec will be on EVERY single one...god i hate myself right now sooo much for not just giving him two envelopes and asking him to do it by paper!

Don't worry...is there a way that you can ask your counselor if it's okay to contact the school and say that it was the wrong recommendation and then submit the letters by hand to the rest of your schools? Sorry, I'm not sure what to do in such a situation :(.

that happened to me too, after a couple of days the teacher was taken off and i was able to pick the teacher I wanted, but it was for the second teacher rec, not the first.
