Some of the workers a) who resent/ the supervisor's authority b) would probably/ feel uncomfortable c) if/ they were to acquire the independence that d) they demand e) no error.

Answer E

I don't get why 22 wouldn't be b and how it is any different than question 21.

the problem is with using be after would. Probably is an adverb not a verb.

but 22’s answer is no error

that’s the point, there’s no error because its an adverb.

probably is not the issue. it’s the “would” that I thought was wrong. I realized it was because it’s in the conditional tense so it’s all good.
