<p>today was the first day of school and it looks like I won't be able to and a four unit class like I had planned. now I won't be able to complete IGETC. I was also worried about not having enough units can you transfer with less than sixty units? will my tag be recinded from ucsc? It Said on my tag agreement that I will have 64 units by the end of spring but now I will only have 60 but I got a D a long time ago in a 4 unit class and I am not sure if those units will transfer. if not I will only have 56. someone please help me out please if I don't get to go to a university this year my whole life will be messed up</p>

<p>You can’t transfer with less than 60 units. I don’t know whether a D counts as a passing grade, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you out.</p>

“For transfer applicants, you need to pass all courses with a C or better. You can repeat any courses in which you received less than a C for as many times as you need. Once you repeat the course and receive a better grade, the bad grade is tossed out of your GPA calculation.”</p>

<p>IGETC must be finished to qualify for TAG, but you’d still be able to apply as a regular applicant.</p>

<p>okay I spoke with a counselor and she said I am still IGETC certified. and she also said that although a D will not transfer as credit, the UNITS will still count. so she said everything is okay. does anyone have any input on this? on my official TAG agreement it also counted the units from the D class towards my transferable units. I remember testing it and I put in an F grade in my tag to see if it would count and it DID NOT count the F as transferable. it did count the D. anyone can confirm this??</p>

<p>okay I have one more question! now since I didn’t get that class, but I had it liste on my tag agreement that I would take it, do I have to call the university and let them know? it was not a pre req nor was it needed for IGETC. please and thank you :)</p>

on the TAU it asks if we’ve completed the “Entry Level Writing Requirement”
are we supposed to say Yes, or Not Applicable?
I’ve completed my two english courses already and I put yes bc I didn’t know what that meant. should i change it to not applicable?</p>
