So today during the SAT, I went back to a section just to look at a problem (yes I'm an idiot I know) and my proctor came to me and said this is my only warning. After that section, she told everyone in the room that she has seen many people in the room have sections (past sections) that were incomplete but then they suddenly become completed and that she might write something or report I don't remember the exact thing she said but do you think college board will cancel my scores??? Please help me. I'm super stressed about this.

You only checked 1 question right? Did you actually change the question? You only went back once right? The way you phrased what she said, it seems like whole sections were filled, if you only changed 1 question, AND she gave u a warning, I think you are fine because she gave you a warning. If you did violated the test rules again, I feel like she would have personally called you out. And remember, she said incomplete became complete, that does not appear to match up with ur 1 question issue. I would not worry, however, if you are a senior, and you have the money, I would just sign up for the dec. 1 just in case, and semi prepare for it, so that way if in the event ur scores are cncelled, u can still take it.

I didn’t change anything. Just went back. She said people in the room as a whole have been changing things.

She may write an irregularity report on you, saying that you got a warning. They should still score your exam, since you were not dismissed.

She should have dismissed anyone she saw changing a previous section. I know it’s stressful taking these exams but it is also a huge stress being responsible for a test room, believe me. All you want is an administration with no irregularities.

bump 10 char

please help me

What do you want us to say? There is no way we can know what the proctor will do. You’ll just have to wait it out and not violate the rules if you take it again.

^ I want someone to say what experiences they’ve had with warnings.

And that one person’s experience with a different proctor will be of what value to you?

So what did you learn from this experience, ijustwantsuccess?

…follow the rules
