Please Help me.

Hey guys,

I just realized how foolish I am and how I have committed a huge error.

Please don't admonish me since I'm feeling terrible right now.

I submitted my Common app., my FAFSA, my CSS Profile today, and the transcripts and all other "academic related stuff" to Emory about 2 weeks ago.

After submitting my CSS Profile today, I got an Email regarding IDOC - something which I honestly have not heard of before.

I made an IDOC account with the info the email provided me with and I realized that I needed to send my taxes and my parents' taxes to IDOC.

After IDOC processes the info they will send it to Emory after 5 days of receiving it. I will be lucky if they send it earlier.

I was panicking after getting that information but I have calmed down a bit now. My parents are going to help me send all those forms tomorrow. It will reach IDOC most likely on Tuesday, the 12th.

The good news is that they will stamp the date when they receive my forms. But still, it must reach Emory by the 15th.

To sum up, Emory might receive my IDOC forms 4 days past the deadline.
Will this prevent me from getting any Financial Aid?

Please help me! I am really worried right now.

Again, this is all my fault. I was constantly checking Emory's transfer website and looking at everything they required as far as academics is concerned.

I thought I was all set with FAFSA and CSS profile for Financial Aid.

And technically, I wouldn't have been able to access IDOC because I got the information regarding my account details today, right?

You should contact the financial aid office immediately and let them know about your situation. Good luck!

Thanks Sammos99!

I did actually contact Emory’s FA office this morning and to my surprise, they said it was ok if the forms from IDOC came in a few days late!

I’m so glad to hear that! Good luck with everything!

Thanks again Sammos99!
