Please help me!!!

<p>Hi everyone this is my first thread here in CC. I would a great deal of help if you guys could help me short list or chance me for the colleges that I will or might apply to.
First about me-
Class 9-CGPA 9.4
Class 10 - CGPA 9
class 11 - 67%</p>

<p>SAT 1- 2030 (maths-770 CR- 620 writing- 640)
SAT II will appear for it in the month of November.</p>

<p>ECs(rough sketch)-</p>

<p>Winner of state championships in Tennis.
Member of school basketball team.
won first prize in many inter club badminton and table tennis tournaments.
School Council Member and also member of environment club.
Participated and also won in District level quiz competition.
Completed a course of 4 years in guitar and a 2 year course in Drums.
Participated in school level Debates, extempore etc.</p>

<p>I am planning to pursue chemical engineering. I know my class 11 percentage is very bad, the reason is because in 11 i was really preparing for IITs and NITs. But now i really want to attend US universities and i have lost hope for indian universities.</p>

<p>The key is to get into an ABET accredited program and I think that all of the schools you mention have that in Chemical Engineering. The things you need to determine are</p>

<p>[ul][<em>]Rural or urban school[</em>]Research university or mostly undergraduate[li]State or private (also relevant to size of school)[/ul]</p>[/li]
<p>Finally, the finances are the key, you probably need to see what kind of financial aid each of the schools provide for international students. </p>

<p>As for chances, any answer you might get is probably a guess unless the individual has specific information about a particular university. I am a faculty member at IIT (Chicago) and my guess is that you would probably be admitted but I can’t be sure as I do not make the admission decisions. Your year 9 and 10 marks are good but there is a significant drop off in year 11. A good performance at the beginning of the upcoming year would go a long way to ensuring your admission.</p>
