Forgot to add:

Currently taking Multivarible Calculus and College Chemistry at local college

bump bump bump

Considering your achievements in the sciences, why wouldn’t you apply to Harvey Mudd and Olin?
(At HarveyMudd, very advanced math students are common, so that your taking multivariable calc wouldn’t seem out of the ordinary, but it’s still very much appreciated for admissions).

Are you done with your Cambridge application? Your teacher or guidance counselor should finish it on Monday at the latest. Impossible to chance since the process is so different.

What are your safeties?

A difficulty would be to find matches - with high stats students, it’s difficult to find schools that admit at least 30% students, even if it’s easy to find schools where they’re at or near the top 25%.

All the schools on your list are reaches by virtue of admission rate. You MUST add two with 30% admission rate and two with 40% admission rate otherwise you risk a shutout. In California, it means starting at a community college (or doing a gap year) but it’d be a shame considering your background.

You’re competitive for Columbia, Georgetown, and Northwestern. Odds are still about 1 in 5 (which is way better than average, but still a risk of 4 out of 5). For CMU, UCB, and UCLA, it depends on the major you’re applying for.

You need some match schools with a 2000 and a 3.82 UW GPA. All of the schools on your list besides UCLA and maybe UC Berkeley are reaches.

Thank you guys! I redid my SAT (2290) and took the SAT IIs (800 Math 2, 800 Chem, 770 Lit) so now I’m a lot more competitive haha

I also got into University of Surrey and Queen Mary University of London, so I have my safeties already.
