i applied early decision II to WUSTL but i've been checking my admission status on and off lately and my teacher's recs have not arrived (i dont know why!!). i have not been able to contact them the previous week. its very important to note that i have not signed the forms that would signify that i agreed to the "binding" commitment of applying ED. i only checked the box in my application. So, my question is... with all these incomplete segments, will my application be automatically moved and changed to regular decision or will it be thrown out???

when did you send the teacher recs?
If you don't sign the form then I don't think you are allowed to apply ED II but if you talk to them maybe you can get an extension on that form.

I-labyrinth- you should make up a letter stating your intent to go to Wash U if accepted in early decision II and have you and your guardian sign the statement. Then fax the statement to the undergraduate admissions office / overnight a copy (monday when the post office is open) to the office of undergraduate admissions. The same situation happened to me earlier this week so I don't think you should worry.

notimetoexchange,

say that that is correct. they won't bind me to ED II. then, is my application automatically sent to regular decision?

i sent in the thing but w/o counselor signature and they said i could fax it monday the 3rd

if you paid the application fee i see no reason why they wouldn't look at your application in the RD pool.
