I'm writing a college essay in class. I'm kind of stuck. It's about me being a mixed race, but I don't know what I should say. Can someone give me some general suggestions. I can send you what I have so far (not much) if necessary.

feel free to send to me if you want. It's a topic that's been done many times, so be creative and original and avoid platitudes.
If you're stuck, just relax. The worst thing you can do is to be stressed out about it. Colleges simply want you to be sincere and get to know you.

pm me if you'd like. I'm multi-racial too, so i can help you brainstorm other ideas if needed. Try to avoid the cliche "it's not easy being multi-racial" but then i realized that "i have the best of both worlds" type essay.

i've wrote about a huge deal of topics for these months, and I just throw the topic behind my mind if I have got nothing to say.
I think if you wish to have something attractive to show to the admission committee, it should firstly be interesting to you. If you dont know what should say about it then how can it be interesting. right?

i agree isa, but I can't think of anything else to write about lol

i firstly list everything i've done in my high school period.
(look back at the award you've won and pictures)
then i start to write about the processes of doing every of them like telling it to someone who doesn't know about them(very. very detailed).
later i found that through writing them i pick up many memory pieces that i dropped when i just simply go through these experiences, that when i read it to my dad, he said he's totally attracted by them.
