<p>hmmm…maybe if you check their websites, you would get a better sense of the typical student those schools admit. You can never tell with colleges, b/c they look at so many things, you know.</p>
<p>daughter of a friend had ACT of 33 and weighted GPA of about 3.7 - UCSD was a No; UCI was a yes; USC (I assume that’s what you meant) was a yes. I assume that Pepperdine would accept you. You might also try UCSB, Occidental, Santa Clara (all three were yes’s for friend’s kid, with some $$); and UCR, USD, UCD, Loyola. Not sure about NYU but “guessing” based on the kids in her class who got into NYU, I think it’s probably a target/borderline reach school with your stats (feel free to correct me on this anyone!) … USC is also getting tougher & tougher to get into -with the lower GPA, not sure…</p>
