Please help - need advice on difficult situation

1.) In NY, went to a Community College - Did very well.

2.) Moved to CA, went to a CC - flunked out (due to family emergency - fathers heart attack. had to go back to NY for awhile.)

3.) Went to a different CC in California - did very well.

4.) Got accepted to a Uni. - flunked out (due to nervous breakdown)

5.) Am now going back to that CC (from step 3) - currently doing very well..

I have around 60+ credits from Community Colleges all together.. i honestly dont know how many more classes I can possibly take at this point. I'm worried that no matter how well i do this time around at the CC, that no Uni will want me due to my record.

My overall GPA is a 2.8... and in California, for transfers, for most Uni's you need at least a 2.5, So GPA-wise, I'm ok but... i dunno.

Any advice is greatly appreciate. I'm ready to get my life back on track

I’m not so sure what you’re asking.

But, I’ll say that it doesn’t hurt to try.

If you explain yourself clearly in your personal statement, you will be accepted by school such as CSU’s … I would try a few lower ranked UC’s as well, such as UCM. Try some easier schools, do not aiming to high, just for your own mental health.

Be sure to write a better statement than what you wrote above.

try to consult a professional to make sure that nervous breakdowns don’t happen again. That’s the only advice i can give.
