Is it okay for an international student to bring his application materials to the fedex on the 26th of october to get them (whole paper application) sent on time for scea? Thanks.. Please assure me..

It says they have to be postmarked November 1st. So I guess that means you can post them up UNTIL november 1st and still be ok. Obviously you want to play safe and send 'em as early as possible.

paper schmaper though. Why do people not use electronic application?

Thanks.. Do you consider 26th oct as safe?..
Paper appl because i don't want my common appl to be locked.

It's safe enough. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

So i'll send it on the 26th oct.. And assuming it takes 2 weeks to arrive at the admission office.. That'll make the arrival date 9th of nov.. Still perfectly fine? Thanks a lot

jhl, not to be a nagging mom (which I am), but if you are really concerned, why not email Yale's admissions office? Ours is just opinion--better to go to the source.

I have emailed one of the officers who is assigned to my region but she hasn't replied me (i forgot whether i asked this question to her tho).. Maybe i should ask again..

after october 19th, the common app will not be locked anyways...

So we'd better send it after Oct 19th?

Jshi- how do you know?..

Here's another link, just so you can be assured this is true: http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2007/10/15/common

Thanks a lot.
Does that mean we can edit anything in the Common appl for our regular decision unis?.. And what does the common appl has to do with financial aid application?

What do they mean by modify 'certain aspects'?..
