<p>On the UNC-CH application, there is a part that asks trimesters or semesters taken for senior years courses. Just to clarify, that meant how many semester you've already taken or the semesters you will BE taking?</p>

Unless if your high school has trimesters, in which you might be well beyond your first semester in the three partite. Don’t think over it too much. Many schools go by semesters; with 2 per academic year and 4 quarters in both the semesters totalled up.</p>
